Updates on ConsultingTools’ 360-degree Feedback Seminar ConsultingTools was delighted to welcome Dr Kenneth Nowack to the UK in January to present a seminar on 360-degree feedback. Ken Nowack is a Chartered Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the development and validation of human resource systems and assessment tools. He has conducted research and published extensively in the area of 360-degree feedback. The seminar opened with an interesting analysis of the characteristics of today’s varied workforce population and explored applications of 360 tools. Ken Nowack explored the effectiveness of 360-degree feedback and examined the potential problems associated with multi-rater tools. Ken’s presentation was supported with valuable research data which revealed, amongst other things, that in a third of cases, 360-degree feedback interventions do more harm than good. Ken Nowack explained how multi-rater systems are of limited benefits unless they are:
Feedback from delegates was extremely positive, with all participants reporting that they found the seminar interesting. Delegates testified, saying: “Since using 360, I’ve found the tool invaluable for ‘holding up a mirror’ so people can see how others perceive them and to understand that even if the report doesn’t ‘fit’ the coachee’s perspective, it’s other people’s reality.” Lise Lewis MBA Chartered FCIPD, Director of Bluesky, Business and Executive Coaching Services “I found the workshop useful and interesting. Ken was a good speaker and the forum felt useful.” Steve Adlard, Organisation & Leadership Development Manager, Southco Europe To find out about our portfolio of 360-degree feedback tools, click here.
