Did you know..? 

A recent survey by City and Guilds has shown that employees in the UK are reasonably satisfied with their jobs, giving themselves an average of 7.1 out of 10. However, ergophobia (fear of work) is said to be experienced by almost five million Brits. Interestingly, some of the nation’s top professions have reported dreading the morning alarm clock the most. At the bottom of the pile of the Annual Happiness Index are HR managers (2%), lawyers (4%) and secretaries (4%). 

So, what are the factors that can make us happy at work? Whilst 19% of us would like to do something worthwhile, 15% would simply like a more flexible workday. Of those in the survey, 8% reported that training and development would make their role more satisfying.

Facte5 Accredited Users Forum- Come along to our Forum and enjoy a glass of wine and nibbles whilst learning about the latest developments in Facet5! This is a great opportunity to network with other Facet5 users and share experiences of how the tool helps create business solutions. Not only will you have the opportunity to meet other Facet5 users, but you will also hear about some case studies.  

The event will be held on Thursday 24^th April 2008, 3.00 – 6.30pm, at The Congress Centre, Central London. This event is free of charge and only open to those accredited in Facet5. 

Emotional Intelligence Workshop- Following ongoing demand, ConsultingTools is pleased to announce an additional date for its highly acclaimed Emotional Intelligence workshop. The seminar will run on Thursday 20^th March 2008 in Central London.  

The workshop will be facilitated by Mark Slaski, PhD.  Mark is Chief Psychologist at ConsultingTools and a member of the EI Consortium for research in Emotional Intelligence.
