Interesting websites

This month’s useful website is the AllWorkAtHomeGuide website. With 25% of the UK workforce “sometimes” working from home, of which a significant 69% are women and 31% are men “mainly” doing so, we though that you might be interested to read about how you could improve your working at home experience.

Food for Thought…

Most scientists believe that "photographic memory" is a myth. According to them, clever people train their brains to remember well. In fact, as humans we simply do not remember things well. Of the three beings known to be able to recognise themselves in the mirror are the orang-utan, the dolphin and the human. Only the latter turns around and instantly cannot remember what his/her own face looks like. Try drawing a picture of yourself without looking in the mirror.

According to Fiona Beddoes-Jones, author of ThinkingStyles, "the brain remembers absolutely everything. It is recall that is the issue, not memory".
