November Favourites Interesting websites
Following a successful trip to the Association for Coaching Conference in Edinburgh on Friday 10th November, we would like to welcome our new contacts. We hope everyone who attended found the Conference as interesting and useful as we did.
In the light of this, we have chosen a particularly relevant website as this month's favourite.
The Association for Coaching, in conjunction with the International Coaching Federation are running a global research project into coaching.
They are looking for as many coaches as possible to complete their questionnaire, which can be found here.
Did You Know? It seems that the UK has been found to be doing a poor job at keeping their employees motivated. Research company, ISR discovered that one in four employees in the UK are seriously considering leaving their job. The ISR suggested that this could be in part due to the buoyancy of the UK labour market at the moment, but also that keeping staff happy might be the key to a company's success. Just for fun I am sure that we have all read or heard the news that office jargon is making staff feel uncomfortable and isolated. Here, the BBC have provided us with some amusing examples.
What is the funniest example you have heard - or used? Send us your suggestions. We will award prizes to the funniest. Upcoming Events If you are interested in becoming accredited in either Facet5 or Thinking Styles, we now have confirmed accreditations on the following dates: Facet5 16/17 January 2007 21/22 March 2007 05/06 June 2007 Thinking Styles 22/23 November 2006 30/31 January 2007 To book, email us. ConsultingTools Newsletters If you missed any of our previous stories, you can now catch up with them on the ConsultingTools website, where back issues are now available. Don't forget, every month our favourites page links will be added to ConsultingTools del.icio.us. We would be happy for you to add ConsultingTools del.icio.us to your del.icio.us network.
If you have discovered any useful websites you think we could feature, do send them on to us.
